I was having trouble for quite a while with my kingston 8gb pen drive, i searched for antivirus programs and researched a lot when i found this small software removed the problem easily. great work!

I was having trouble with my kingston flash drive for a long time, i was not able to access it by double clicking i kept getting an open with dialog and i couldnt access it easily, i am a very 'portable' person so this was a real hassle, a few weeks later the same thing happened to my c drive, until then i didnt bother looking for a solution, once my local drive got the same issue i googled around to find disk heal, great software would be an understatement, it fixed both my drives with 1 click!
it also has a bunch of other features which honestly i don't really need but i am sure will come in handy for some, its a must have for anyone. thanks!

I ran the same test using McAfee with the latest virus definitions (5456) and McAfee reports the virus as clean.
Did you scan the file with the latest virus definition update (5456)?

Disk Heal v1.43 must have a purpose, only I guess that I missed getting that memo! The GUI looks good and functions well, but..., the program functions did..., nothing! I even tried the HDD fixes on a drive partition that I know is messed up, nothing! All of the program functions returned nothing! I even re-installed it (XP Pro), nothing! I must be living in a parallel universe!

I have an external Maxtor 80GB drive that Windows XP thinks its unformatted (the drive is, however, formatted). As a result, the files that are trapped on that drive can't be accessed. So, I downloaded Disk Heal and gave it a try. Well, it didn't do anything for my drive. All I got was a message from Disk Heal that said, "Invalid Drive Letter or Disk May Be Facing an Unknown Problem." Well, that's the last thing that I wanted to see from a program that's supposed to fix disks that have problems. So, while Disk Heal may solve some virus-related problems and such that cause a drive to become inaccessible, the program clearly has a long way to go before it can handle heavy-duty hard disk problems. Still, if you're hard drive is having access issues, you may want to give Disk Heal a try as it may work for you. I mean, it certainly doesn't seem to make anything worse as far as I can tell.
