"Super Program"
This is one of the best programs for cleaning your registry. Up till now I did not even know Windows kept registry entries for files and folders until I installed this on my unstable Windows XP machine. It runs great, easy to use, helped me get rid of unwanted context menu entries and everything!!!

Unlike ccleaner,glary utilities-this one does a thorough scanning in fixing errors-in 17 sections,pc became stable has backup feature.I personally reviewed over 15 registry softwares & this one is the greatest,used over months without errors,negative results. "installs a trojan"
I confirm it installs a trojan in a really insidious way. At the end of installation it wants you to reboot. At that point you find three additional files in your C:Windows folder:
1. is-U6AOQ.exe
2. is-U6AOQ.lst
3. is-U6AOQ.msg
They seem to be harmless, as in the *.lst-file it says it registers some two simple files which can be considered harmless as well. You can even check with virustotal.com and it won't detect any threat.
However, after reboot, you will find this in your Windows folder:
isRS-000.tmp
which is actually the file is-7N0HI.exe camouflaged under another name. This is a new trojan horse that is not yet detected by virus scanners. It seems the developers are not trustworthy and create this software in order to spy on your system or even worse.
Stay away from Glary Utilities!

I really like Glary Utilities. However, recent update contains a virus. I have no explanation for this, but right after installing version 2.7.268 I found strange files in my Windows folder, named somethin like rs-IMS.tmp - sorry, can't remember really, because I immediately re-installed my system as strange behaviour occurred. I found out that it's actually a trojan horse. Please, developpers - remove that virus.

"be careful"
this is a good program and is better to use it than not maintain your pc. however i am not a great fan of programs like this. most functions available are already on your os if you just look for it. its also better to use a few small programs to keep your pc healthy. ccleaner, revo and defraggler combined keeps your system in reasonable condition and maybe the odd scan with argente registry cleaner. you could also try xpssypad which is a program that gives you access to most windows functions all in one place. its a brilliant little program that also gives you access to hidden windows features. i used glary for 6 mnths and in the end i found it a bit lacking and dated. when you learn to find these options on your os you will probably uninstall glary.

cleaned my registry real good , left nothing for xp to work..display and a few icons looked ok but no response trying to run anything , would not allow recovery, so tryed rebooting and got missing file report..running toshiba laptop with xp pro. I had to reinstall xp

very good with XP. wish it had its own disc defrag but i give it a 5. the only problem ive had with it is in the file shredder-the wipe free space wont work on my external hard drive which is fat32.
