The best search utility? Far from it. If files aren't indexed, they're not found. This raises the need for incessant indexing, something I have no stomach for.

This is the best search utility. Also it gives more accurate results and low memory footprint. Great. Use it in combination with snowbird for realtime search.

This is a good software but the only option you have is to search within its database. What if you'd like to search for newly created files that haven't been stored in the database so far. Or if you want to search within compressed files or within documents this program doesn't give you this choice.
I use now "File Seeker" that is miles away from this Software.

It's wunnerful. You have to update the database occasionally, but that's nothing more difficult than a click or two. If you don't like it I'll give you your money back.

Remember - this is just the UPDATED files only! You still have to go to the homesite & get the regular installer. Cool software, updated quite often.

An excellent hard disk file indexer-searcher. I just tried it on a drive with 140 gigs of files. I got my list back within 2 minutes! Lightning fast. Be sure to go to homesite and get latest Beta [updater only - you still need the last full installer.]
