| "XP Freeze" I noticed that the 2.4.2 version apparently fixes the freezing problem on Vista. Well, my PC freezes when booting into XP but I thought I would try the 2.4.2 version anyway. Same problem.:(
As I use dual boot, out of curiosity, I tried version 2.4.2 on Vista and it had indeed cured the freeze problem. However, when I clicked on the Network tab, a message stating something like I would have to reboot to get network information. You guessed it, on rebooting and trying again, I got the same message.
Will I even download version 2.4.3? Not a chance. Twice bitten, three times shy.

| "Beta version" There's a beta version available that'll fix the freezing on startup issue (for people that are running the Vista OS). You can find it at http://www.pc-lighthouse.com/Beta/PCL_Setup.exe. A stable version containing a working network driver will be available in a couple of weeks.

| "24/7/365" Works darn well here. Is meaningful as a background task (loads on startup by default). A bit heavy on RAM (10mB+), but CPU when in taskbar is idle (0+)

| "Re: couldn't get it to work" Its not your computer. I also have experienced freezing on startup because of its network driver (my OS is Windows Vista Business Edition SP1). I've emailed the support team about the freezing issue, so it should be fixed in the next version (hopefully).

| "PC Lockup" After installing and rebooting, my PC locked up in the boot process with the PC speaker making a continuous noise.
Luckily enough I imaged my boot partition today and restoring seemed the only option I knew of to get my PC back.
