 | "OK, but get a second opinion" Everyone shoots their goo over memtest86 and memtest86+. I guess they fire it up, see what they want to see, then proclaim it wonderful software. But I know better. I've seen memtest86 and memtest86+ fail to detect faulty memory on several occasions--and I've read report from people I trust who've encountered the same thing.
I trust Microsoft's memory diagnostic tool more than this one. But when I seriously want to test memory, I don't waste my time with this--I run Prime95 for a day or two.
