| "Not free for much longer" I've used Alzip 6.7 for several years.
I like it but I see from their website
that it's not free for much longer!
Get it while you can.

| "Good but Old" I was using this for almost 2 years but because ESTSoft didn't got out a new version of it for over a year i started using PeaZip and after it i used the compact JZip, i will return back to my ALZip when they get out a new version out, they got out a few days ago ALSee so they might get out AlZip too maybe...

| "Spyware" Sorry, I have to say this. The software itself is really quite good. But unfortunately it installs an extra software on your PC to collect usage data it transmits silently to the developer. That's not nice.

| "almost perfect" I like this software. It's neat and fast. However, I miss some features: 1. It doesn't support arcive encryption, 2. You cannot disable icons in context menu, 3. It's free but stil has nags, 4. Icons in context menu are ugly compared to the funny ones they use for file types and within the main window. But all in all it's sufficient for average users.

| "Must try" I started using PC in 1997. Right from then, i was using Winzip. But in 2003 i heard of a software called WinRAR and switched over to that. In 2006 I saw this piece of software and started using that. Its a good archiving utility. Everyone should try this and use it.

| "Can't handle RAR file properly" I have been using this software for few months, it's quite excellent that I wouldn't use it to unzip .RAR files. It will always shows error or the files unzipped will be incomplete. I hope the next update version will have this problem solve. But still it's a excellent program, that's way I am giving a rating of 4

intermedate pc user and I found ALzip
pretty easy to use. And the reason I
say "pretty easy" is I haven't done a lot of zippn' & unzippin'this area I'm still learning. But there is plenty of info & instructions w/
the software & at ALzip site.
So get to zippin'!

| "don't notice it" i don't even notice it, which is how it is supposed to be. one of the better zip's i have tried, and works on my win98 laptop.
