| | | | "Failed to find Chinese text"
Seeker 3.10.0.1 fails to find files having specified Chinese text. Maybe the author only takes care of the English Language. As you know, foreign language files have various formats such as ANSI, Unicode which encode the same character differently. So, simply asking you to enter text without specifying which encoding system is sure to fail. by: Henry | 1 | 2009-07-15 | | | | "Pretty Bad."
This program needs a lot of work.
It looks okay, but is actually a pain to use and also buggy.
The most obvious thing to correct is to not make the user have to figure out why it's not returning any results because they don't use asterisks.
If you are looking for a good file searching program check out Agent Ransack, Locate32, and Everything.
Everything is what I use most of the time since it's so fast (index database).
When I need to search for content inside files (html, txt), I use Agent Ransack. by: CrazyCoconut | 2 | 2009-06-20 | | | | "Perfect"
There's just nothing to complain about, pure perfection, excellent speed, easy to use, powerful and to the point, everything down to the installer gives the perfect amount of options and efficiency.
