because its a low-level reformatter you idiot. it deletes low level layers in the hard drive and gives it no file system after but rather raw.

this problem is excellent but use it with caution. very helpful in fixing bad sectors and damaged hdd(non-physical)

Nice tool, but will not format your hard drive to FAT32 or NTFS. I wanted to us this to format my new external hard drive. This would be perfect if it did.
