I used this to wipe a drive I was returning to seagate (45 days old). Anyway I performed the "wipe and then it lock up my system and prevented my main drive from working. I shut down and pulled the power cord and reset teh machine without the drive I just "wiped" and was able to boot normally again. I sht down and reconnected the drive I just "wiped" and the system would not fully boot up it would hang at teh windows start up (desktop no icons-no menus- no ctrl-alt-del) I have to force it down with the power button. I sure hope my drive is clean.
