"best speed optimization"
With JKDefrag I did the best speed optimization I have ever done to my system. A hint: Have a better interface with "JKDefrag GUI". The easiest way is to download only JKDefrag GUI which will then download automatically the latest JKDefrag. by: Freeboy | 5 | 2009-03-29 |

"Joke Defrag"
Doesn't even support layout.ini. This means that it will undo the optimizations that Windows puts into place. Unbelievable that people would want to use such a thing. by: mike | 1 | 2008-12-13 |

"3.36"
There's already version 3.36
Changes:
- Reverted back to an old Microsoft Screensaver library. The 2008 compiler has a library that is incompatible with Windows XP ("The procedure entry point ChangeWindowMessageFilter could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll").
- Fixed a problem with extremely long path names. by: JB3 | 5 | 2008-08-31 |

"best defrag tool"
This is just the best and fast defragmenter you can find for Windows. Don't be put off by the very basic interface. There are several frontends to ease the handling, for example "JKDefrag GUI" which you can download from the following website:

"JkDefrag 3.34"
This free program is one of the rare few that I have been using for a while without any problems. All programs on my computer start much faster and you do notice the difference. To achieve this, especially if you are using this program for the first time, you need to use option -a 7 sort by name only once, this is very slow believe me and can take more than a few hours to finish depending on your computer. Once you have done that then you use the default option -a 3 defragment, fast optimization for daily use. With continuing use the default finishes much quicker. Personally myself I use the default option -a 3 once a week which is sufficient, but the choice is up to the user. If you do not no how to use the commandline, you can download one of the free GUI which has all the options listed, and integrates with JkDefrag when using to make it more user friendly. by: M. | 5 | 2008-06-20 |

"JkDefrag 3.34"
The initial run of this program is fairly slow because of the optimising and moving into zones, but with continuing use the program finishes much quicker. For me anyway the program is much faster than disk defragmenter of the OS. The only thing this program does not support is boot optimization. You can fix this by using cmd of the OS to defrag after running JkDefrag. Besides that this program is excellent and you do notice a difference after using.

"Nothing but the best"
I first used this application on my grandfather's 1998pc but because of his old and painfully slow hdd it took 7hrs to defrag. That was almost an yr ago it it was superb. This new version is even better, its faster, more beautiful and best of all it works with vista: nice icons too. by: Mwanafunzi | 5 | 2008-05-22 |
