"Awesome" by: nitin File Extension Changer 3.3.1 Pros: This software is awesome. A virus had changed the extensions of around 2000 files on memory stick of digital camera. I spent 1 hr to change the extension of only 100 file. And guess what, remaining 1900 files took only 2 minutes with this software. "Amazing application" by: Duroob Other Thoughts: really, i have never used an application like it. it's amazing because my work IT Dept. has blocked some of the OS choises such as showing/hiding hidden folders & files, showinh/hiding file extensions..etc as a group policy. So, whaen i have used file extension changer, i found it a full mouth WOW. "Wouldn't load" by: Disappointed Other Thoughts: After installing and uninstalling and reinstalling it would not load. By using XP's explorer I could right click on a file (not folders) and change the extension one at a time. Downloaded Ant Renamer as suggested by others and it worked perfectly. " File Extension Changer 3.3" by: WGS Other Thoughts: I have a JVC Video Camera which saved my video as MOD files. I needed to change that file extenstion to MPG in order for my MS Media Player ver 11 on my Vista OS to plasy the videos with both audio and video. This tool " File Extension Changer 3.3" change 88 files in seconds and it is intergrated with the windows file atributes ... very cool. Thanks!!! "another solution" by: Eddy Miraldo Other Thoughts: This soft runs in the background as a shell extension dll. The more little software in the background running, the slower your system. I recommend to use 'Ant Renamer', a great freeware mass renaming software that can handle any renaming task at the ease of a fingersnip.
