Software Product Description

Some keyboards do not have LED indicators for Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock keys, which makes it difficult to know whether the keys are on or off. Other keyboards have some indicators in less visible areas. Thankfully, AlomWare Lights lets you view the status of the keys on your PC's or laptop's screen.

The application resides in the system tray on the lower right corner of the screen, with Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock keys represented by letters N, C and S respectively. Each letter has a corresponding bar below it.

When the keys are turned off, the corresponding letters and bars are gray in color. On the other hand, you will readily know which key is turned on, as its corresponding letter and bar will turn orange.

AlomWare Lights goes a step further than this in its functionality. Apart from showing you the status of the three keys, you can configure it to stop the status of Num Lock and Caps Lock buttons from changing. To do this, you just need to click the application icon to display a menu allowing you to keep Caps always off and Num always on. The pop-up menu also lets you close the application or open its manual.

The application automatically runs when you start Windows, but it removes itself from autorun when you quit it.

You can download either the installer or portable version of AlomWare Lights. You can convert the installer into a portable version by copying its install folder to your preferred location.
