Arlion Photo Debut is a free program for processing multiple images at the same time. The program allows users to apply different effects and add decorations, which are applied across all loaded images simultaneously.

Using Arlion Photo Debut

Arlion Photo Debut installed fast and smoothly without adding any third-party application. We created a desktop shortcut during installation and launched the application immediately after completing the process.

The program featured tabs on the upper and lower parts of the user interface for performing various things. The tabs on the upper part allowed us to open or paste images, apply different decorations, reset the applied effects or delete all loaded images. The lower tabs were for performing such things as undoing or redoing effects, renaming images, saving the images in various ways or exporting them in different image formats.

Apart from browsing for and selecting files via the open tabs, we could also copy and paste or drag and drop images directly on the program window. Alternatively, we could simply drag an image onto the program icon on the desktop, which opened the program with the image already loaded.

Clicking any of the loaded images opened it on the pane on the right side of the user interface, ready for processing. That image gave a preview of the applied effects. We could not exchange the image with another during the demonstration process; neither could we load more images.

The middle left part of the program window featured the effects we could apply, which were divided into four categories: filters, rotations, scale and cropping.

When we clicked on a category, it displayed the demonstration image the way it appeared depending on its various effects. We clicked on the thumbnail that displayed the image the way we wanted, and the effect was applied across all loaded images. The edited images appeared on the lower part of the program window, giving us the opportunity to compare them with the originals on the upper part. If we did not like an effect, we just clicked the 'Redo' button.

Once we had applied the changes we wanted, we saved the images as we preferred. The program allowed us to:

  1. Select a folder to save them in the desired format
  2. Save them next to the originals in the same format with original names
  3. Save them next to the originals in the same format but with different names
  4. Select the folder to save them to under new names

Of course, the program appended the text 'edited' to the names when we selected the second option.

Conclusion

Arlion Photo Debut is a simple but effective application for batch processing of images. You will see the effects you have applied in real time and compare edited images with originals. The free software allows you to undo an effect you do not like or reset all effects at the click of the mouse. You have different ways of saving the edited images.
