BlueRay HTPC is an intuitive player for BluRay discs, which is based on Ubuntu 16.04. You can use it to play all types of Blu Ray discs, including 4 K Blu Rays.

The player allows you to seamlessly switch between MythTV and KODI, which was previously known as XBMC. The DVD button on the remote lets you switch between them.

You have the choice of using the old XBMC skin as the default skin while MythTV will give you the opportunity to have a great TV viewing experience. It features updated EeeMC themes that are attractive, readable and easy to navigate. You will experience these particularly in videos, recordings and TV guide.

PulseAudio features a powerful, 15-band graphic equalizer that lets you adjust the audio quality to your liking.

BlueRay HTPC incorporates Mythbuntu installer and script that allows MythBackend to start even without any network connection, which is especially ideal for combined MythBackend, MythFrontend systems. It also incorporates a script that lets Ubuntu work well when you are using a WiFi dongle.

You will get detailed instructions on how to make either a permanent or live install and burn ISO to a USB drive. You will get all program functions even when you make a live install.

Even if you are using a relatively old computer, BlueRay HTPC will help you convert it into a full-featured HTPC that gives you a better viewing experience than a Smart TV. You only need basic HTPC to enjoy high Blu Ray quality.

Will need user name, ubuntu, to start, no password required.

Note: This download is an .iso file which needs to be burned to DVD.
