If you would like to create or modify color palette in different formats, then Cyotek Palette Editor is an ideal tool for you. The free color palette editor is compatible with such formats as GIMP, JASC, DeluxePaint Image, Paint.NET, Raw and Adobe Photoshop Color Swatch.

You can create a palette from an existing image, which you may use entirely or in part. Using an image will make it relatively easy for you to create your palette, especially if you are new to the art or want to complete your palette quickly. You may also import an existing palette into your new palette via the 'Import' tab under the 'File' menu. You may choose to import some or all colors from the selected palette.

Alternatively, you may wish to exercise your creativity even more by designing your color palette from scratch. The free editor allows you to create a new, empty or custom palette depending on your preference.

You may copy desired colors from your palette to the clipboard and vice versa.

If you have color palettes in a variety of formats, you can convert them to other formats simultaneously with the Batch tool. You can reorder color swatches using different methods both automatically and manually. For example, you may use the keyboard or drag and drop method. Other things you may do with color swatches include editing, duplicating, deleting, copying and pasting.

You can customize the application itself by configuring start-up options, palette grid, font and backup among others. You may also change the theme of the user interface and even add some external tools.

Requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
