While the Android operating system provides a way of disabling applications, the process can be rather time-consuming when you are dealing with many apps. Debloater makes the process fast and easy right from your computer. You may also perform a few other things with the application.

Using Debloater

The installer gave us the option to enter our desired username and organization, and the installation process was quick. When we launched the software and connected a compatible device, the application window displayed different details about the device, including its serial number, model and battery level. Three buttons on the lower left part of the window showed us the device status, whether it was connected, synchronized or in root mode.

The upper right corner of the window displayed activity status while the right upper side showed us the total number of packages on the device as well as those that had been changed, blocked and unblocked. The middle section displayed the APK files found and their respective package names. Each file had a check box to its left for selecting or deselecting it. Two check boxes on the upper part of the application window allowed us to filter the apps and remove the selected ones.

We could disable or block selected APK files or all apps at once and then export the list of disabled or blocked apps. The software also allowed complete removal of unwanted apps on rooted devices. When we chose to remove an app, the program backed up the APK file and original folder structure, which came in handy when we wanted to re-install the app.

Debloater will help you disable and enable multiple applications on your Android device from your computer. If your device is running Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later operating system, then you do not need to root your device. The USB debugging mode also needs to be enabled on the Android device. The software reads data directly from the device in real-time.
