The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install Windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping.

Additionally, Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder also locates keys and serial numbers for other applications such as Microsoft Office, games, antivirus programs, and more.

The program is portable, requires no installation, and does not write to the Windows Registry.

It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Office XP, Office 2003, and Office 2007/2010.

Pros: My favorite keyfinder No software installation Open Source

Cons: Has some bugs such as listing blank keys (like Half-Life) when the program is not installed.

Other Thoughts: At one point in time Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder was open sourced using the GPL. I got a hold of those sources and have continued the community project.

I created the Enchanted Keyfinder. I added many features and fixed many bugs since MJB Keyfinder 2.0.8.
