Software Product Description

Windows 8 and later operating systems feature games that are fundamentally different than those found in Windows 7 and earlier operating systems. The earlier games were in form of programs while the newer ones are in form of apps. However, many people are still interested in the earlier games, but they cannot play them on their new operating systems. It may be that they prefer the earlier versions or cannot find their favorite games in the new operating system.

Whatever your reason is for wanting to play the earlier games, Windows 7 Games for Windows 10 will come to your rescue.

You simply need to download the installer package, extract the content and install the software. The installation wizard will guide you in selecting the games you want to enjoy on your newer operating system. The installer will show you the space required to install the selected components. The games are installed in the language of your operating system.

Once you have completed the installation process, you just need to go to the Start menu to launch your favorite games.

The following games are available:

  • Solitaire
  • Spider Solitaire
  • Minesweeper
  • FreeCell
  • Hearts
  • Chess Titans
  • Mahjong Titans
  • Purble Place
  • Internet Spades
  • Internet Checkers
  • Internet Backgammon

Windows 7 Games for Windows 10 is compatible with all builds of Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

"What I really wanted"

Pros: Installs seamlessly. Provides the solitaire I needed. Didn't test the others.

Cons: None found

Other Thoughts: Running Windows 10 Home. Installed solitaire and minesweeper. I haven't tried minesweeper yet. I really wanted solitaire as I had in Windows 7. This works as identical in Windows 10 as it did in Windows 7, far as I can tell.
