Ashampoo Soundstage 2020

2020-02-26

Pros:

Love to slap on my headphones & listen to my favorite tunes(which are many & varied) while I'm installing / updating programs on my computer. I find that it relaxes me making tedious jobs seem easy.

Cons:

Have used it for about a month now & so far none.

Other Thoughts:

This is one excellent program that if asked, I would be more than happy to pay for.

Other Thoughts:

We tested the program prior to adding it to our database and it's clean. (The screenshot was taken during our review - no issues) We also checked it with VirusTotal which uses multiple virus scanners (68 total) rather than relying on the unreliable Windows Defender. Following are the results:

Note: You are not required to subscribe to their newsletter, although you need to register for an account with them. Which, by the way, is easy and quick since it's presented in the software.

"Windows Defender FLAGS A TROJAN and blocks the app - beware"

Ashampoo Soundstage 2020

Pros:

In theory, this might be an interesting sound program to try, but it's failure to pass Windows 10 Defender protections renders it a zero in it's present installation format.

Cons:

Flagged as installing a Trojan with multiple triggers on my up-to-date Windows 10 Pro system. I uninstalled and ran Windows Defender to remove the Trojan files (triggered every minute or so immediately upon completion of installlation.

Other Thoughts:

The program also requires you to sign up for their newsletter, which you later have to unsubscribe. All in all I will have no further interest in Ashampoo programs.
