Auslogics Registry Defrag 7.5.2.0

2014-03-21

Other Thoughts:

Much better on the size (compared to previous releases) It does what it says well, and is far less nagging/manipulative, as well
- I hope Auslogic furthers this trend, they have some good offerings

- If one can opt out, do so

Auslogics Registry Defrag 7.4.1.0

2013-12-22

Other Thoughts:

This thing's instal size is ~18.4mb -- not a good sign, because beyond the bling of graphics or other expanded displays , they all pretty much do the same thing: compact the registry within each hive

So after an Analysis and reboot (which works well), a subsequent screen is generated primarily informing me that I had 28kb of junk stuff.
There is a "delete" the crap button and below that "view details" link. Hitting either will open your browser to their site which has large ,in red, warning that my pc sucks or is about to blow up (I forget which)
UNLESS I get their BOOSTSPEED software

Just to inform others, (or maybe I'm highly influenceable), I downloaded it. -- it's not even a trialware
[of course its aggregate scan result/ observation was how 'does that paperweight of yours even run?' {grinz}

Anyway I never did get those debilitating, nasty 28kb deleted -- DAMN

Anyway, the actual /this defrag works well
Is it worth the 18mb of space? -- not in my book
but then again I use NT Registry Optimizer (ntregopt); it's 0.25mb
