Would you like to view the details of your drives quickly and easily? Then Drive Controller will help you do this and make some useful tweaks. The simple and free application will help you manage your folders and drives by getting their details, labeling, changing and even hiding them.

Using Drive Controller

RBCoders are truly committed to bringing users simple applications that they will have no difficulty using. Drive Controller is such a simple application: it is lightweight and fast.

We could perform six different functions with the small application, which we could select on the left side of the application window. The right side of the application window let us choose necessary features and steps for performing our chosen task.

If you have .ico files on your computer, then you can use them to change the icons representing your drives. You just need to browse to and select the .ico file you want to use, choose the drive you want to apply it to and then click the 'Change Drive Icon' button. Indeed, you will accomplish most of the tasks by taking three simple steps.

For example, we changed drive label by typing the label we wanted, choosing the drive we wanted to rename and clicking the 'Change Drive Label' button. We did that with the File Explorer open, and we saw the change reflected in real time. Undoing changes made on a task is as simple as clicking the 'Rest' button (perhaps they meant 'Reset').

The 'Drive Info' tab provides details like drive name, label, format and type in addition to total size, used and available space.

Drive Controller allowed us to monitor the folders we specified for any changes. We tried to see how accurate the monitoring was by deleting files and creating new folders. The program gave us real time updates of the changes, including the names of the deleted files and created folders. The 'Folder Watch' feature makes it easy to monitor the changes made even if you are away from your computer. If you no longer want to monitor a folder, click the 'Stop Watching' button under the feature.

Under 'Settings,' we could check for updates and change the language and theme.

Drive Controller is a simple application that makes it easy to manage your drives and folders.
