Publisher's Description

Fresh Download is a robust and very fast download manager software that turbo charges downloading any files, such as your favorite software, mp3 files, video files, picture collections, etc.

Unlike any other similar utilities (e.g. Gozilla, Download Accelerator, Getright), this software is 100% free, no charges, no banners/ads in the software, no spyware.

Also includes split, resume, schedule and browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, and Mozilla) integration features, clipboard monitoring, drag and drop url, download basket, internal zip extractor, integration with antivirus programs and proxy.

New in this version: support for Crazy Browser (using Method 2 of IE integration) and reported minor bugs fixed. Close the old version before installing it.

FreewareFiles tested Fresh Download 8.77 on 2012-04-19 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

"8.26 has uninstall problems! [as far as I saw]"

Pros:  None

Cons:  None

Other Thoughts:  I have used Fresh Download for years. Sadly, 8.26 is a bust--especially when it comes to the resume feature + uninstallation [at least for me].

I am finally very disappointed in the program + the web site. Go to the freshdevices site to get the program, & you are bombarded with other bogus downloads as well as annoying popups [& yes I do have my pop up blocker enabled].

I will not use it ever again; it has seriously gotten on my nerves.

Yesterday, I switched to Free Download Manager, which searches relentlessly for a connection that supports resume. I am happier.

Downloaders beware! Your system might get messed up in the process for using the software.
