ShortPopUp was created to reduce confusion and taskbar clutter. It can be used to tidy your desktop too. You can use this application to clean you desktop and have a larger background.

FreewareFiles tested ShortPopUp 4.1 on 2006-03-15 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: After evaluating 17 other similar progs I found ShortPopUp. The end. Utterly simple, drag & drop, but also with plenty options for bells and whistles. Too many to mention here.
It is a DIY standalone setup but extremely convenient and hogs no resources. All required customization info included. The discovery of the screwdriver now fading :-)
