Free ZIP Reader unzips any ZIP archive and decrypts SecureZIP files. From PKWARE, the originators of the .ZIP file format. ZIP Reader is a free Windows utility that allows users to open files that have been compressed using SecureZIP or PKZIP--or any other ZIP product.

Even better than the pkunzip utility of the past, ZIP Reader decrypts Secure ZIP files created by any PKWARE product, regardless of hardware platform. That means Windows users can access files encrypted and compressed on Windows, UNIX, Linux, iSeries, and zSeries systems.

Simple to use with a slick auto launch feature--just double click on a ZIP file or drag-and-drop the ZIP file to the ZIP Reader icon. The file unzips automatically. Version 8.0.18 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
