No search capability within the tab - makes program useless by: Ralph | 5 | 2008-09-11 | | | | "Incredible Launcher"
Take full control with this NOW portable launcher - take it with you.
If you're updating to the new portable version or the regular version, copy the old folder "Stick Tabs" and the file "ScreenTabs.dll" and the file "settings.xml" to the new folder. That's where all your previous data and settings are stored.
If this is your first time using Stick, try it and get creative. You can dock it to any side of your desktop. Open windows, insert websites, listen to streaming radio, the things you can do are almost endless.
The memory used is dependent on how many tabs you create.
If you want and need a great launcher, whether installed or portable, get Stick! You will absolutely love it! Moreover, you'll love what it can do! by: Foxie | 5 | 2008-08-16 | | | | "easier on resources!"
I got lazy, and hadn't updated since version 2.6.2.2, and I've used Stick on startup for years. I read the previous review, and I was a bit worried, but to my pleasent surprise, the idle 0-2% of resources I was using went down to 0-1%, and the peak during the mili-second a tab is opening or closing on my computer is down from 17% to 15%.
I've got two tabs of phone numbers, one of some small programs, and one of internet shortcuts. I'm probably a bit happier about Tab appearance than some users will be, because I use a plain color as my desktop background. One of my phone number tabs is just a small case 'o', so I don't see it until it's time to use it. My others are similair short names that don't distract me when I'm looking around the desktop. This program is a workhorse for me.

I've used the Stick program for years and always loved the ability to categorize my icons under tabs, however this version ran slow with a bit 'too much' added so I went back to the old version. by: MadArtists | 2 | 2008-05-11 | | | | ""

This is a must tool and great design, I love it. It takes a minute to get use to and learn how to use it. Download and enjoy!
Ken by: kenworld | 5 | 2007-12-28 | | | | "Clunky and complicated"
By the professional-looking installation and documentation I expected Stick to add some useful features to Explorer; but the configuration is too complicated for the functionality payoff, and the window redraws seem to be very jerky. It comes across as an advanced Beta of an app that they forgot to test on real users. by: robinbkelly | 1 | 2007-12-15 | | | | "Stick - Does what it says, says what it does"
Easy-to-understand UI, navigation and set-up are a cinch. (Places 'folder tabs' containing a range of content along the screen area of your choice.) by: Nimitz | 5 | 2007-10-10 | | | | "stick to it"
Excellen thing by: jj | 5 | 2007-09-25 | | | | "It's okay"
But I'm not sure why you couldn't just tab *any* window. Being limited to browser, explorer and notes is very, well, limiting.

Extremly practical program.
If your a Power-User or more this is a must have.
It gave me a Waregasm!
