"Great product, saves buying the full version of Adobe" First, the advantage of encrypting a PDF file is that it has a password. If you have a sensitive file that you need to send to someone, you can do so using a pre-negotiated password. Then you can be reasonably certain that the file can only be viewed by the intended recipient. This is a great little utility for joining or splitting PDF files. Previously we'd purchase a full license for Adobe Professional just so that a user can take two files and turn them into one PDF, or re-arrange pages in an PDF.
