Have you ever looked at your desktop and saw nothing but a cluttered mess? With a bunch of scattered files and unorganized folders all over your screen, you can forget about easily finding the document you need. Desktop clutter is a problem for many people, but rather than choosing to ignore it, there are ways to get it under control. One option is Radial Menu, a free application launcher from developer Jacob Iedema.

Using Radial Menu

Downloading this application launcher is free, and it's a fast and easy download. Installation was quick, and the program itself is very lightweight. Unlike some application launchers, Radial Menu doesn't use a database, so there's no need to worry about installing one. The interface is unique, but still very clean and simple. It appears as a round dial, with options to adjust the display settings, size, and opacity of the UI.

Using Radial Menu is fairly simple. You create groups for your files and then add the programs, documents, and links of your choice to each one. You have the option of creating subgroups as well, and there's no limit to the number of categories you can create. Moving items into groups is easy, as you can drag and drop shortcuts and files to ensure everything is how you want it. Radial Menu is compatible with PCs that run Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10.

This program would be useful for anyone, especially students, those of us who use our PCs to work, or people who tend to accumulate files and, thus, end up with cluttered desktops. It's easy to use, works well, and because it's aimed at keeping files organized, it's a good tool to increase productivity. Another great thing about Radial Menu is it's absolutely free -- there's no malware, adware, or backdoors bundled with it at all. Because it's such a handy application launcher, so easy to use, and built with integrity, Radial Menu is well worth a try.
