What's New in version 2.4.4:

  • Ability to stop all timers or countdowns on the current tab (available under the Timers menu).
  • New feature that warns users when they have left a timer running too long (available to 'Pro' users only). Can be configured on the Timers tab in the Options screen (File > Options or Ctrl-O).
  • Tool tip on Focus light now shows recent timer start and stop times (available to 'Pro' users only).
  • Fixed bug where WatchMe wasn't opening to it's last screen location.
  • Notifications for timer inactivity or a timer being left on too long will flash in the task bar to make them more noticable.
  • Added more shortcut keys to the menu items. Visit http://www.flamebrain.com/help/shortcut-keys/ for a full list of all the shortcut keys.
  • The time that a timer or countdown was last stopped, started or reset is now stored in the WatchMeConfig.xml file. This data will be used by new functionality in a future release.

What's New in version 2.3.2:

  • Recent task switches appear when you hover over the focus light (available to 'Pro' users only).

  • Fixed bug where Alt + F4 wasn't closing the application.
  • Ctrl + Shift + T now toggles the 'Show Totals' option.

What's New in version 2.3.0:

  • Updated the application to require version 4.0 or higher of the .NET Framework.
  • Added a new option to adjust the transparency of the application.
  • Added new options to prompt you before clearing all notes or flags from the countdowns and timers.
  • Added new functionality to add and subtract time from a timer when right clicking on the time display.
  • The application will now open to the same screen position it was in when it was closed.
  • New 'Pro' mode that provides the user with the ability to make use of 'Pro' only functionality (anyone who makes a donation to help out the development process will receive a key to switch into 'Pro' mode. Anyoue who has donated already will be recieving their keys via email).
  • New functionality to manually enter the time into a Timer (available to 'Pro' users only).
  • You can now set a timer or countdown to reset automatically each time the application is launched (available to 'Pro' users only). Just right click on the time display to turn this option on or off.

  • Countdown timers (Finally!) - visit http://www.flamebrain.com for more information on how to use countdowns and how they differ from timers.
  • Overhauled the options screen to allow for new countdown related settings.
  • You can now change the location of the configuration files used by WatchMe, and also point WatchMe at an existing set of Configuration files. Use the 'Manage Data Files' option under the Timers menu.
  • WatchMe can now run off of a USB memory stick. Just put the EXE and configuration files in the same directory on your stick.
  • New option to warn before resetting an individual timer.
  • When an alert triggers a sound file and shows a message box, closing the message box stops the sound playback.
  • All timers and countdowns are stopped when the PC is hibernated or put into sleep mode.
  • Bug fixes.

  • Added default file names when exporting timer data.
  • The inactivity notification no longer opens a new dialog box every time it fires - only a single dialog box will be displayed no matter how long the timers are inactive.
  • Fixed issue where an 'object' error may occur while deleting a timer.
  • Reworked the internal timing code to to improve its precision and efficiency.
  • Added code to not allow tabs to have the same name.
  • Made the hour, minute and seconds controls larger when setting up a timer alert.

  • Fixed issue with the Focus Light not moving down the screen when new timers were added.
  • Increased the maximum text size for a timer note to 10,000 characters.
  • Added the ability to export the timers for the active tab only.
  • Added new keyboard shortcuts (PgUp, Alt - PgUp, PgDn, Alt - PgDn) to increase and decrease the time displayed in a timer. Focus must be in the timer's textbox for this to work.
