Pros: Kingo painlessly rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5110) tablet with Android 4.4.2 installed. Did have a problem connecting to the Google Play Store afterwards. Turns out the proxy used by AdBlock Plus (installed before the root) was conflicting with the Google Play Store afterwards. Since a proxy is not needed for a rooted device, I deleted it (in network settings for my Wi-Fi connection) and the Google Play Store instantly worked again. Beyond that minor nuisance (not Kingo's fault) with the Play Store (took some time to figure out), everything else (games, apps, etc) worked just fine after rooting - and AdBlock Plus blocked more ads then ever before.
Other Thoughts: There's always some risk when rooting a device, but Kingo did a fairly good job of mitigating that risk as much as possible. Therefore, I can recommend Kingo for those willing to take that small risk.
