The latest JEDEC standards are used:

byte, kibibyte, mebibyte, gibibyte, tebibyte
kilobyte, megabyte, gigabyte, terabyte
bit, kibibit, mebibit, gibibit, tebibit

Also included are the storage capacities of CD, DVD, DVD DL, DVD-RAM, Blu-Ray, Floppy, and HD-DVD.

File sizes can be imported, including by drag and drop. Results can be copied to the clipboard or saved to a text file.

All you have to do is type the value in one of the byte fields and the calculator will show the result in different memory types, also provide how amount of memory the file will occupy in CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, Floppy and others and you can even use a short mode.
