ChessTheatre is a free program to view and publish PGN chess databases. You can use it to view your chess games on your own PC, but also share them with others on the internet by using the integrated publishing function.

FreewareFiles tested ChessTheatre 1.0 on 2006-07-18 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: Does everything right for looking at chess games published in PGN format. Excellent graphics.

Cons: This is ChessTheatre 1.0. ChessTheatre 1.22 is available at the publisher's website. HOWEVER, it's buried in their menu and sub-menus. But it's there. Consider it a puzzle to figure out.
