Software Product Description

You may need to upload large files online for various reasons. For example, you may need to update a website regularly or share a large file that you cannot send as an e-mail attachment. This may require you to compress the files into an archive before uploading them via FTP. The problem with this process is that you will need more than one application. However, Click FTP will perform both tasks.

To use the application, extract its executable file to your desired folder. Creating the application's shortcut on the desktop will help you access and launch it faster.

You will need to create different FTP profiles for the folders or websites you want to use, which are represented by profile buttons. You can create as many profiles as necessary. When you launch Click FTP for the first time, it gives you a fictitious profile as an example.

You can drag folders or files you want to upload onto the application window or its shortcut icon. Alternatively, you may create a 'Send to FTP' option in the context menu, which you normally access by clicking the right mouse button. Creating and removing the shortcut in the context menu is as easy as clicking the SendTo button on the lower right corner of the application window.

A pop-up menu appears in the files list, which you may use to select, delete or remove files.

The application only zips the files you select, and the name you select for your archive must contain a minimum of four characters to prevent accidental operations. If you double-click the name window, the application automatically creates a name. The archive name replaces the names of the files you selected in the list.

You may create a password for your archive if you wish. To upload files, simply click on the appropriate profile button.
