Many downloadable ZIP archives have DIZ and NFO files included within them. GetDiz is a freeware program especially designed for those files. ASCII art is displayed correctly and the user interface is small, handy and specific. Since the start of the GetDiz project more than 10 years ago the program has evolved into a full featured text editor. GetDiz can replace Notepad while maintaining an incredible speed, ease of use and small size.

Note from FreewareFiles: The setup program includes a toolbar which does not have to be installed to use the software.

I have used version 4.1.0.6 for a long time and like it for its speed, convenience and performance excellence. The later versions have added new features, one is placement of SAVE button immediately along right-side of PASTE button. The old users are 'programmed' to press the last button but it prematurely saves the file now. Please shift this button either to righ-most position or an option to turn it off. Thanks for all the good work.
