i am not an explorer fan but this version is slowly getting better!
version 7 was a complete joke and is what made me so anti explorer but 8 is much better.
i was running firefox until the last few updates and found to my suprise that ie8 is quicker and more stable.
if you take the time to set ie8 up correctly its actually not a bad browser with regard to security,speed and stability but it looks awful with its battleship grey interface thats long overdue an overhaul.
i also find it awkward to use compared to other browsers like firefox and opera which are much more user friendly.
my main gripe with ie8 is power as it eats up ram especially compared to opera.
although its getting better its still not the best and i will only use it for my auto updates as opera at the moment is in a different class to all available browsers. |
