OpenTalk is a video and voice conferencing software application that allows you to talk to up to 100 friends in a chat room, using your headset microphone and a Web cam. It includes text chat, voice chat, and video chat. Stereo quality sound. Sounds like your friend is sitting right next to you.

FreewareFiles tested OpenTalk 3.17 on 2007-01-05 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: Though I didn't expect much of this program, it work'd actually... Not very hard to setup a group-conversation nor single talk. Though the quality is a bit on the poor side. I expected a bit more, especially because it's a program for up to 100 persons!?...My friends and I tried it over LAN and it pretty work'd out till 18 persons, after that the whole program just froze... Pity, because with some good development it would be astonishing... My rate for this = 3!
