Publisher's Description

PointandSee is a FREE simple but full featured under cursor color finder.

USAGE

Simply move the finder over the color that you need to distinguish. The inbuilt magnifyer and X,Y readouts allows you to see in detail your selection and aids to pinpoint the exact pixels under the finder. The color under the finder is displayed in the Point Color box, at the same time R,G,B and Hexidecimal values for the selected pixel are shown.

What´s New in version 1.4.2:

  • System Colour picker dialogue can now be called by clicking on the point colour box. Selected colours are automatically added to the swatch panel.
  • PointandSee can now be made to float above other program windows via the options menu.

FreewareFiles tested PointandSee 1.4.2 on 2012-04-25 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

"Nice App!"

Pros:  Small, very easy to use. I can just leave this open on my desktop sitting in a corner. It's fun to use, different from all the other pickers as you drag the whole thingy around not just a pointer.

Cons:  File size is a little big, but hey only took 8 secs to download so I guess I'm just being picky!

Other Thoughts:  How about being able to save swatches to file. And maybe export to Adobe Kuler?

Big 5 from me.
