The SnowFall screen saver displays a shower of snowflakes that drift across your monitor.

Configuration options are available that can be used to change the way the screen saver looks to suit your own preferences.

The snowflake images are taken from the collection of images photographed by Wilson A. Bentley, and very beautiful they are too. The screen saver itself is based on the Snowfall screen saver for the Mac.

FreewareFiles tested SnowFall Screensaver v1.1 on 2007-01-03 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: This is one of those screen savers that makes me wish...that I used screen savers! Seriously, there's no use for them, other than the fact that they look nice.

The snowflakes are too big, even at their smallest size. They look good, but not quite realistic. And the background is also too simplistic. Having some sort of actual background would really be nice...that is, if I used screen savers! [G]
