Xcalday is an extremely simple day calendar, where you can write a post-it note for each day. Just click on any day, and enter a note. Days with notes appear bold in the calendar.
About as simple as it gets. This is a good little calendar/reminder program where each note is stored in its own date-coded text file. There is no search function, but you can use Win Search when you remember the note, but not the date.
Its shortcomings are the inability to search, the lack of scroll bars in long notes, and no taskbar entry, so you have to minimize windows or use the keyboard to find it.
