Pros:  Non Linear, Non Destructive, can handle up to 256 separate audio and video clips. Many filters, and effects; control of chroma, color, etc. It is capable of producing a totally professional product, good enough for a serious filmaker.

Cons:  User interface is very technical and cumbersome. I'm actually taking baby steps through it myself. It is a matter of learning how the program 'thinks,' and it's working, it's specific nomenclature, as it is not intuitive or very friendly.

Other Thoughts:  If you are willing to put in some time, I think what can come out of this program is well worth the effort. If higher end editing were easy, everyone would be doing it well. The less sophisticated programs may be easy to jump into, but if you get good at those, you will also yearn for a bigger, better program to do more creative, artistic effects with. If someone offered you Premier, anyone would take it. There is a learning curve there as well. So, as this one is free. It's worth the time to learn.
