"Awesome Emulator" by: Bhavani Eshwar Other Thoughts: I have been using this for almost 5 years now for have a linux based development environment on my desktop. I had to do a few hacks here and there but other wise its an Awesome Emulator. There is nothing to match it currently. "Cygwin is cool" by: bmj2006 Other Thoughts: It beats Linux. The cygwin team continously updates this Linux emulutor for windows. You can also communicate and operate remotely Unix and Linux computers. Compile programs with the included GCC compiler collection. Really is neat.
