"The Best OS eCommerce Solution" by: CaptainMarvel Other Thoughts: Hands down, the emergence of Magento onto the scene has turned the open source community on it's ear. In it's base form, Magento is full of the exact kind of functionality and marketing tools that the "big guns" use - providing for an amazingly dynamic eCommerce marketing effort. Sorry VirtueMart, but Magento is now leading the pack amongst open source eCommerce solutions. The thing that the Magento Team really needs to accomplish is a stable integration component package for the top CMS out there (i.e. Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress).
