This is the best and most powerful 100% FREE download manager. Unfortunetly it is also the newest and this is a beta version which contains some bugs which you may or may not experience. It worked fine for me so I give it 5/5!

There's no backdoors in it, your antivirus picked up a false alarm. Also, if you find any bugs, please report them to the Forums for it(which you can reach by going to the homepage for it and click the header named Forum).

This program is the worst i have ever seen, it is riddled with errors. For a start it does not download, it just keeps bringing up the message "This program as caused an error) and the only option it gives you is to end the program now and that is what happens every time you go to download. Also when manually entering a website URL: into the program a message appears with another error which is just unreadable it looks a little like this "&&BHIBTU*&^TI". I mean what the F**K how the heck are you supposed to download with this program, i really am surprised it still exsists on the web today and that people are rating it 5.00 reviews
