This is directed straight towards WiredAmerican.The option can be found in Options -> Settings -> Downloads -> Network.Here,though the Heavy mode has unlimited bandwidth,both the Light and Medium modes can have custom bandwidth restrictions.I know it's not exactly direct but you can't dock such a great piece of software a point for that,even if it wouldn't have been there.You should have looked for it,and thoroughly.Really,such good software doesn't deserve anything but a 5.
You,yourself,have noted it to be a minor problem and the feature certainly isn't missing.
I hope you are happy now,really,giving it a 4,helping other morons who have lowered it's rating,of one of the best pieces of software I have used.Even if you return to give a 5,the damage has been done.It will only be equivalent to 2 votes of 4.5.And no further number of '5's will ever make it touch 5 on your vote.:)

Exact bandwidth limiting.
It allows you to choose 3 bandwidth limiting options but I could not find one to exactly limit the bandwidth to an exact level. Perhaps 4.0 will let you specify.

i have tried so many download managers, i have tried almost all of the commercial ones too but all pale in comparison to this download manager in features/reliability/stability...
it is just incredible software. it does EVERYTHING a download manager should do and its interface is very friendly to boot!!

Unlike the other shareware and freeware download managers this one is finally doing his job and gives you less errors then all major download managers on the net. However, i tried Orbit Downloader as also and got up with this conclusion: Orbit Downloader downloads at a faster speed then Free Download Manager but it gives you more errors then FDM. On the other hand FDMs downloading speed isen't "The Speed of Light" but it makes sure that you're downloads will be downloaded withowt breaking/corupting them.
