"Nice" StaxRip is a very nice app, no fuss, just plain encoding freeware. It asks you to install anything needed for the encoding and it's very easy to make your own dvdrips, give it a shot, you wont regret! by: iNeverWalkAlone	5	2008-03-13

"Excellent!" Excellent program! I've been looking for ages to find something to convert my DVB recordings to Xvid. Thing is I also needed a utility to edit out the ad's, and then I had to re-encode the entire thing again to get my desired file size. This took hours and hours of painful encoding everytime! NOT NOW!!! THIS PROGRAM DOES EVERYTHING I WANTED IT TOO. THERE IS NO NEED TO USE 2 OR 3 SEPERATE PROGRAMS!!!! EXCELLENT! I do have one 'niggle' though. When you edit the file, it's not like most editors when you would select a portion to delete/cut, this selects the bits to keep! Also not to mention this program is in it's early stages and it a bit rough around the edges, this thing has sooooo much potential and power. Quite possibly the best (free) editing/conversion program on the planet as of now! by: Jaddi	5	2006-02-11
