It's not always easy to make a definite decision in very situation, and there are times you may feel like flipping a coin. However, how do you flip a coin while you are using a computer? Simply turn to "Randomizer" instead. You can use the handy application to select different types of elements at random. The software supports words, lists, numbers, datetime, dices, cards, color and a coin of course.

Randomizer is a portable application that does not leave traces on your Windows registry nor does it create extra files on your system. You simply launch it from the directory where you save it.

The program displays a straight forward graphical user interface with tabs on the left side for selecting the element you want to use, starting with a deck of cards. When you select this option, you will see a drop-down list where you select the number of cards you want to use. The middle pane displays the cards while the Randomize button is located below this pane, which you click for the program to display the randomized cards.

The same procedure applies to the other elements apart from the coin element, which is always one. After all, a coin has two sides.

Besides selecting the required number of elements, you can set an appropriate range by specifying the number of required random values. You need to specify the starting and ending values for your range.

On the lower part of the program window, Randomizer lets you view the amount of memory used, level of power and system uptime.

Pros: It looked like a promising app....

Cons: ....until I tried some of the features. Try rolling two dice....

Other Thoughts: ....and this is what I got!
