I have also been using FreeFileSync to backup the entire drive as it supports shadow copy function, incremental backups at that! If I need to copy a backup back to C: drive I run it portably under Bart PE. I keep the portable version on the root of all the drives/partitions and run it from there under Bart PE,as you can't actually integrate it into the Bart PE disk (well I can't anyway). Works great, only does the data, doesn't matter if the target is smaller. I don't need to use Ghost anymore. Brilliant sync program, thanks to the author for making this free! |
